Situated in the heart of the Southern Ontario horseshoe is the Canadian sales office and warehouse of ISCAR CANADA. From these state-of-the-art facilities, ISCAR serves the Canadian cutting tool market, providing the metalworking industry with innovative and unique and products that have enabled ISCAR to become the second largest supplier of carbide cutting tools in Canada. ISCAR began in Canada as a niche market supplier in 1984 with the revolutionary SELF-GRIP parting-off line of tools and indexable inserts. Since then the local office has grown into a major presence in the Canadian market, offering such leading edge products as HELI2000 and MILL2000 for milling applications, and the multifunction HELI-GRIP for turning and grooving and CUT-GRIP and the unique MULTI- MASTER for die and mold production. Customer education and product training — both major focuses for ISCAR CANADA — are conducted in a modern multimedia, computer integrated demonstration and seminar facility, which is unmatched in the industry. At the Oakville Training Center, ISCAR conducts an ongoing series of training seminars for customers, distributors, and of course, our own personnel.
